What’s going on, y’all? We’ve got a huge week down in Columbia from 3/22-3/26.

We’ll be participating in the always fun Soda City Suds Week with 4 official events and then a bonus Brewery Highlight Pint Night. We’ll end the week at the Cream of The Crop Beer Fest with a special surprise. We hope to see y’all at some point during all the festivities. And if not, maybe at least in the taproom.

Tuesday 3/22

Cheese And Beer Pairing

Craft and Draft | 5-7 pm

We’ll have Yeoman’s, Great Danish, GVL and 864 on tap and if you buy a B85 Pint, you’ll be able to sample an expertly paired cheese.

Lotta Firkin’ Tacos

The Whig | 4-10 pm

Whig’s Taco Tuesday gets kicked up a notch as River Rat, Frothy Beard, Holy City and Brewery 85 (aka Boys Just Wanna Have Fun) take over the taps, and the bar taps a special cask of a four-way collaboration the breweries created.

Wednesday 3/23

Tap Takeover + Pint Night

Old Chicago Pizza | 6-8 pm

Come through The Vista for some delicious pizza. We’ll have a handful of our year-rounds and seasonals on tap. Buy a pint; keep the glass. Plus, we’ll have some free stuff to give away.

Brewery Highlight Pint Night

The Flying Saucer | 7 – Midnight

We’re their brewery of the week highlight. Order a pint and take home a mason jar.

Friday 3/25

SC & NC Brewery Spotlight

Green’s Warehouse on Piney Grove | 5-7 pm

We’ll have 6 total taps with four year-rounds (GVL, Quittin’ Time, Southern Pale and Yeoman’s) and then two specialties (Great Danish and Fancy Pants).

 Saturday 3/26

Cream of the Crop Beer Fest

City Roots Farm | 12 – 5pm

No tickets at the door, and there are only a few left so buy some if you haven’t already. We’ll be joining 30+ other local breweries at City Roots Farm.

Plus, for the first time ever we will be pouring our new Summer Double IPA: Tropic Thunder. This thing is clocking in at 9.5% ABV and has huge blasts of tropical and citrus aromas and taste: pineapple, orange, lemongrass being the most distinguishable. We didn’t tell the festival so it’s not on any of the brochures or literature. We wanted it to be a surprise.
